Francis Sparadeo

Sparadeo, Francis G., 85, of North Providence, died April 14, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. He was the husband of the late Joan L. (Greaves) Sparadeo. A longtime resident of North Providence, he was a son of the late Daniel and Anna (Vernava) Sparadeo.

Francis was the owner of Quality Screw Machine Products. He also was a former volunteer firefighter and a life member of the Centredale Fire Department.

He is survived by two sons, Dr. Francis R. Sparadeo of East Greenwich, Alan J. Sparadeo and his wife, Lynn of Johnston, a brother, Gordon A. Sparadeo of North Providence, six grandchildren, Christina, Anthony, Danielle, Kasey, and Matthew Sparadeo and Michael Cozzo, and two great-grandchildren, Alexa Melgar and Isabella Sparadeo. He was brother of the late Alfred, Walter, Raymond and Robert Sparadeo, Leona Cardillo, Elena Desautel, and Joan Jackson.

His funeral service will be held Monday at 11 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours Sunday 5-8 pm and Monday 10-11 am.
