Florence Moskwa

Moskwa, Florence F., 91, died Saturday October 15, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of the late Stanley Moskwa. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Anna (Ursillo) Scopelliti.

Florence had been a resident of North Providence since 1958 and a resident of Smithfield for the past several years. She worked at Worcester Textiles for twenty years before retiring in 1997. Florence had also been a volunteer at the Salvatore Mancini Resource and Activity Center.

She is survived by a son, James Moskwa and his wife Sharon, a sister, Rita Pignatelli, and three brothers, Arthur, Vincent and Stephen Scopelliti. She was the sister of the late Helen Ruggieri.

Calling hours will be held Saturday October 22nd from 9-11AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence, with a service to follow at 11AM. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
