Elena Desautel

Desautel, Elena A. (Sparadeo), 90, formerly of Lincoln St, died September 8, 2009 at Heritage Hills Nursing Centre. She was the wife of the late Arthur F. Desautel. Born in North Providence, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Anna (Vernava) Sparadeo.

A lifelong resident of North Providence, she worked for the former Allendale Mill for 32 years before retiring in 1965. She was a member of the Salvatore Mancini Center.

She is survived by two brothers, Gordon A. Sparadeo and Francis G. Sparadeo, both of North Providence, a sister, Joan Jackson of Smithfield and many nieces and nephews. She was sister of the late Leona Cardillo, Alfred, Walter, Raymond, and Robert Sparadeo.

Her visitation and funeral will be held Saturday 8:30-9:30 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Lawrence Church. Burial in Highland Memorial Park.
