Elaine C. DiBenedetto, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family on February 21, 2026, at the age of 97. Born on January 7, 1929, in Smithfield, she lived a life full of independence and simplicity.
Elaine worked at Town Electroplating of Johnston until her retirement, but it was her devotion to her family that truly defined her spirit. She cherished Saturdays spent surrounded by loved ones, creating memories that will resonate for generations to come. Elaine was at every party, the heart of the gathering and the matriarch of family traditions. Elaine's passion for baking truly shone during the Christmas season, as she delighted in preparing cookies for her family.
