Edith Matarese

Matarese, Edith L., (DeFrancisco), died June 28, 2011 at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of Edward L. Matarese. Born in Johnston, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Filomena (Ormella) DeFrancisco.

Edith was a self-employed hairdresser.

Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Edward L. Matarese, Jr. of North Providence, a daughter, Judy Babikian of Cranston, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was sister of the late Columbia Aurecchia, Vincent DeFrancisco, Lawrence DeFrancisco, and Vera Cipolla.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael's Church, Georgiaville Friday at 10AM. Calling hours are omitted and burial will be private. Please omit flowers.
