Donald Riley

Riley, Donald P., 72, of North Providence, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Hopkins Manor in North Providence. He was the husband of Rosanne L. (Bissonnette) Riley for 37 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Daniel J. and Florence (Darnell) Riley.

Donald was a chain mechanic and toolmaker for Atlas Chain of Cranston for 17 years before retiring.

Besides his wife he leaves a son, Donald P. Riley, Jr. of West Warwick, a daughter, Lisa Soares of West Warwick, a step-daughter, Kristen Smith of Coventry, a step-son Gerald Zampa of California, seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.

His funeral service will be held Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 11 AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, 389 Greenwich Ave., Warwick. Calling hours are Saturday 10-11 AM.
