Dominic Colucci

Colucci, Dominic, 82, of Scenery Lane, died February 26, 2009 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the husband of Barbara F. (Arute) Colucci. Born in Portland, ME, he was the son of the late Michael and Carmella (DeStephanis) Colucci.

A registered pharmacist, Dominic was the director of pharmacy at Woonsocket Hospital for 35 years, previously working for Lees Pharmacy, Woonsocket for five years. He was a graduate of the University of Rhode Island School of Pharmacy. He was a member of the American Pharmaceutical Assn., the American Hospital Assn., the VFW Post #0014, Cumberland, and the Salvatore Mancini Center.

Besides his wife, he leaves three sons, Michael Dominic Colucci of North Providence, David John Colucci, Esq. of New Britain, CT, and John Peter Colucci of Johnston, a sister, Beatrice Colucci of Warwick, and 16 nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held Monday at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, Johnston. Graveside burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery. Calling hours Sunday 3-6 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
