Our beloved Mother, Dolores S. Albanese, 91, of Providence, passed away November 7th at Hope Health Hospice. Born July 21, 1932 , she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Blanche Hawk and sister of the late Charlotte Harbeson and Frances Thompson.
Dolores was born in North Providence and attended schools in Johnston . She was employed at Mine Safety Appliances for several years until her retirement. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, and family get togethers.
She is survived by her four children: Carol Grabiec, Debra Wallace, Diane Radican, and Ernest Albanese,Jr., two grandchildren: Jason Grabiec and Marie O'Toole, two great-grandchildren : Tyler Dann and Sean Grabiec, and brother Edward Hawk.
Dolores was a kind and caring person who always put her family first. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family and always remembered in their hearts.
A memorial service will be held for her at Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 4th St., North Providence on Saturday, November 18th at 9:30am.
