Diana Rainone

Rainone, Diana P. (Bruno), 77 died Saturday, April 9th 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Rainone. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Torino Bruno and Theresa (DiMarzio) Bastianelli and stepdaughter of the late Domenico Bastianelli.

Diana was a licensed practical nurse working at Goldencrest Nursing Center and the Wildflowers Nursing Home. She loved being with her family, golfing, and she was an avid slot machine player.

She leaves two daughters, Robin A. Jeter and Susan C. Rainone both of North Providence, two granddaughters, Ariella and Sophia Jeter. She was sister of the late Hope Capracotta and leaves sister Mary Bruno, brother Thomas Bastianelli, niece Christine DiFruscio Harabin and nephew T.J. DiFruscio as well as many other nieces and nephews, and her lifelong friend Ruthie Baffoni.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, April 13th at 9:00am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in Mary Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth Street. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visiting hours are Tuesday, 4-8pm.
