David C. Taylor

David C. Taylor, 72, of Johnston, passed away on Friday, May 10, 2024 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center.   Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Chester and Lydia (Lefebvre) Taylor.

David was a retired heavy equipment operator for the Local 57.  He was an avid outdoorsman, and lived for fishing.

He is survived by his daughter, Liz Taylor-Samos of Johnston, his son, Erick J Taylor of Indiana, his granddaughter, Cassie Libucha, two great-grandchildren, his life partner, Maureen (O’Brien) Canzone of Johnston and her daughter, Dayna Canzone, four sisters, Shiela Dickson, Denise Houle, Gail Oliveira, and Renee Taylor-Paquette, and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was the brother of the late Edward Taylor.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 15^th from 4-7 pm with a service at 6:30 pm.   Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends of Homeless Animals at https://fohari.org/donate/
