David J. Sullivan, 79, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025 with his companion and son by his side. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late William J. and Mary (Keebler) Sullivan. He resided in North Providence for most of his life, and had recently resided in Greenville.
Mr. Sullivan worked in the banking industry as a mortgage lending officer for more than 20 years and was later self-employed. He served in the U.S. Army and was assigned to reading topographic maps during the Vietnam War. He was also a graduate of LaSalle Academy and Boston College.
He leaves his loving companion of 25 years, Annette Armstrong. He is also survived by his son, Michael Sullivan of Lincoln and his sister, Jean Bruch and her daughters, Mary and Kristine of Newtown Square, PA. He was the brother of the late Nancy Hurley.
The funeral will be private. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Suggested charities are Salvation Army, American Red Cross, American Cancer Society, and The Autism Project of RI.
