Daniel "Dan-O" O'Connor, 54, of North Providence, passed away suddenly on July 3, 2026. He was the cherished son of Jeanne (Keane) O'Connor, Stephen O'Connor, and stepmother Simone O'Connor.

He will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and knack for striking up a conversation with just about anyone. Dan was a huge sports fan who loved football, billiards, and going to the gym. He was passionate about fantasy football and could easily spend hours talking sports with family and friends.

Dan spent many years working in the restaurant and landscaping industries. His happy and welcoming spirit earned him countless friends. More than anything, Dan was known for being kind and incredibly loyal to the people he cared about. His sense of humor, friendship, and generosity will be remembered by all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed.

In addition to his mother, father, and stepmother, Daniel is survived by his brother, Stephen O'Connor, and sister-in-law, Lori Castor; his niece, Nora O'Connor, and nephew, Colin O'Connor; as well as his uncles, Dan Keane and Jim Keane; his aunt, Tracy Keane; and his cousin, David Keane Jr.
