Daniel Harkins Iii

Harkins, Daniel J. III, 65, of Providence, passed on September 25, 2019 at Rhode Island Hospital.  Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Daniel J. Harkins Jr. and Anna (O’Brien) Harkins.

Daniel was a longtime member of the Fogarty Center, where he also worked.

Daniel is survived by a brother, Brian Harkins of Jamaica Plain, MA, a sister, Ann Marie Plunkett of Charlottesville, VA, and several nieces and nephews, as well as his Fogarty Center family.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 1-2 pm with a service to follow at 2 pm in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence.  Burial in St. Ann Cemetery will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Fogarty Center, 310 Maple Ave Suite 102, Barrington, RI 02806
