Charlotte Mcdonald

McDonald, Charlotte S., 99, of Pleasant View Ave., Smithfield, died Monday November 16, 2015 at Brookdale Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Raymond F. McDonald.

Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late James and Mary (McGuire) Kennedy. She had lived in Smithfield since 2000, previously residing in North Providence for 45 years.

Charlotte was employed by Brown and Sharpe Manufacturing for 13 years until retiring. She was a very active member of the former Roger Williams Baptist Church for over 50 years. Charlotte was a former member of the Norwood Grange and the Ladies Auxiliary, VFW.

She leaves a son, Raymond F. McDonald of Attleboro, MA, and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Frank, John, Alexander and Gavin Kennedy, Irene Phillips, Gladys Ferry, Agnes Shardlow, and Winifred Tuhey.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 10AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours Friday 5-8 PM.
