Charles Morin

Morin, Charles N., 91, formerly of Johnston, died November 13, 2016 at Steere House. He was the husband of the late Beverly A. (Doughty) Morin. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Norman W. and Hope A. (Balfour) Morin.

Charles worked for Professional Security Services for 20 years until retiring, previously working for Bulova Watch for 32 years.

He is survived by three children, Linda J. Meldonian and her husband Dennis of Cranston, Susan H. McLaughlin and her husband William Jr. of Johnston, Ralph N. Morin of Johnston, two grandchildren, Amanda Meldonian and William F. McLaughlin III, and a sister, Nancy Van Wormer of Providence. He was the father of the late Robert C. Morin and brother of the late James E. Morin.

His funeral service will be held Friday at 10 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park. Visitation 9-10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Steere House Activities Fund, 100 Borden St., Providence, RI 02903.
