Catherine Laposta

LaPosta, Catherine (Macaruso), 87, died peacefully Saturday, March 13, 2021 at home.  She was the wife of the late Mario LaPosta. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Marie (Lisi) Macaruso.

Cathy was the owner of Cathy’s Decorator Shop in Smithfield for 30 years.

Cathy is survived by her loving daughter, Maria LaPosta of Johnston and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.  She was the sister of the late Anthony Macaruso, Jr.

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, the services will be private.
