Carmella Sciarra

Sciarra, Carmella (Corsi), 95, passed on October 22, 2018 at Elmhurst Extended Care Facility. She was the companion of the late Henry Marcello for 40 years. Born in Lawrence, MA, she was a daughter of the late Biagio and Almerinda (Rendine) Corsi.
Carmella loved vacationing in Florida, spending her winters in Ft. Lauderdale. An avid dancer, she was a member of the UTC. She was loved, and will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by four children, Diana Ostiguy, Carol Andreozzi, Elaine Lanni, and Dante Sciarra, Jr., 17 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Diane Del Vicario and sister of the late Concetta, Angie, Annie, Josephine, Mafalda, Benny, and Domenic.
Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service on Friday at 11 am in the Highland Memorial Park Mausoleum, 1 Rhode Island Ave., Johnston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
