Brian D. Salvagna

September 22, 1964 — November 13, 2023

Brian D. Salvagna, 59, of Providence, died on November 13, 2023 at Landmark Medical Center.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Rose (Pennine) Salvagna.

In between the constant upkeep of being New England sports fan, Brian worked as an administrative assistant at Fogarty Center’s North Providence office and also at Access Point RI for 12 years.  Also, Brian had volunteered on Living Innovations Advisory Committee and their Human Rights Committee.  He explored self-advocacy at the legislative level, and even participated in a podcast on emergency planning for people with disabilities. He was meticulous in everything he did and generous with everything he had.

He is survived by his sister, Madeline Rebello, many nieces and nephews, his housemates, Andy and Art, and the support staff of the Fogarty Center.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 from 10:30 am – 12 noon in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence.  A funeral service will be held at 12 noon, followed by burial in St. Ann Cemetery.
