Barbara E. Nardolillo (Leoncavallo) passed away peacefully on July 2, 2026, at South County Hospital. Born in Providence on February 4, 1942, Barbara was a daughter of the late Anthony and Rose (Signore) Leoncavallo. She was was the beloved wife of the late Domenic “Bobo” Nardolillo.
She is survived by her sons, John Iafrate and his partner Christine and Fred Iafrate and his wife Judy, her grandson Steven Iafrate and his wife Rachel, great-grandchildren Aiyla and James, as well as niece Elisha Rotondo and her husband Nick.
Barbara was one of a large and loving family, and is survived by her siblings, Richard Leoncavallo and Patricia Leoncavallo, her step-children Joey Nardolillo, Bobby Nardolillo and his wife Debbie Nardolillo, Sandy Nardolillo, Donna Nardolillo, and Lisa Nardolillo. She was the step-mother to the late Domenic "Nicky" Nardolillo and sister to the late Barry Leoncavallo.
Barbara worked for many years at Kriss Ann’s Restaurant, where her dedication and friendliness left a lasting impression on colleagues and patrons alike. She was also a true homebody, happiest in her kitchen, where the aroma of her cooking welcomed all who entered.
Barbara’s love of walking, dogs, and the simple beauty found in nature reflected her appreciation for life’s everyday joys. She enjoyed daily trips to the market. Her generosity and warmth were matched only by her hospitality; family and friends will fondly remember gathering in her kitchen, where laughter and delicious meals were always in abundance.
Those closest to Barbara recall, above all, her loving nature. She was a constant presence—always ready with an open heart, gentle reassurance, and boundless support. “She was such an awesome Mom,” her children reflect, honoring a lifetime of unwavering dedication.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, RI 02911. Her funeral will begin on Friday, July 10th at 9 am from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston, RI 02919. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
