Barbara Johannes

Johannes, Barbara M., 75, died Wednesday February 1, 2017 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. She was the wife of Robert Johannes. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Gilbert and Alice (Raposa) Brown.

Barbara loved her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling and had visited many exciting destinations. After her retirement, she liked to read, take care of her animals and was especially fond of going out to eat with her family. Barbara was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, auntie and friend. Her beautiful smile and warm soul will sadly be missed, but will remain in the hearts of her loved ones forever.

Besides her husband she is survived by her children, Robert Johannes, Jr., Michael and Keith Johannes and Barbie Colella, seven grandchildren and a brother, Gilbert Brown. She was the sister of the late Ruth Manco and Mildred Peters.
