Arthur Desrosiers

Desrosiers, Arthur N., 82, died Friday, November 11, 2016, in his home in North Providence. He was the husband of Ann E. (Davidson) Desrosiers. He was a son of the late Arthur N. and Jeanette (DeCoteux) Desrosiers.

Arthur was the owner of the Pepperidge Farms franchise in the North Providence area for 12 years until retiring in 1996. Previously, he had managed the IGA in Greenville for 5 years and the former First National Store for 28 years. He was a member of the Smithfield Lodge of Elks.

Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Arthur N. Desrosiers, III of Westport, MA, David P. Desrosiers of Warwick, and a daughter, Nancy J. Bucci of Warwick, 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Claire Gauvin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10 AM in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St, North Providence. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours will be Wednesday, 4-7 PM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence.
