Anna P. Colangelo, 95, a lifelong resident of North Providence, passed away on June 11, 2026 at Overlook Nursing Home. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Elizabeth (Cornachione) Colangelo.
Anna worked for Worcester Textile for 40 years and was a housekeeper at Cherry Hill. She was a parishioner and choir member at the former St. Lawrence Church in Centredale. She was a bingo enthusiast and frequented both Foxwoods and Twin River Casinos. Anna enjoyed going out to eat with her family members and was known for her expansive scarf collection.
Anna was predeceased by her siblings, Josephine Simonelli, Mary Roberts, Anthony Colangelo, and Rose D’Orio. She is survived by her loving nieces and nephews, Paula McCarthy, Debra King, Linda Pora, Lisa Tardiff, Barbara Goodwin, Michael Simonelli, and Michael Roberts, as well as many great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 8:30-9:30 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
