Anthony Carbone

Carbone, Anthony J, 88, died July 18, 2018 at the Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Flora A. (DeFusco) Carbone. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John and Marie (Verno) Carbone.

Anthony was a meat cutter for Stop and Shop Supermarkets for 14 years, retiring in 1995. He had also worked for Ricci’s and Aust’s markets. He was a member of Local 328, a former member of Dillon council K of C, and a former member of the Holy Name Society at Our Lady of Grace Church. He was a volunteer firefighter for the Lymansville Fire Department and for its Ambulance and Rescue.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Anthony J. Carbone, Jr. and David F. Carbone, seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Teresa Mello.
